Funding for A Bad Case... will be secured through a combination of crowd-source funding and private and corporate sponsorship. We want to offer the opportunity to people in the diabetes community to become a part of its production.
This comedy series is the first of its kind in the diabetes world. The funding campaign will be both an opportunity to secure funding, but also, more importantly, to allow the DOC a stake in the production of the series.
The Pilot episode was self-funded and was released for a 30-day period in October. We are in pre-production for the next five episodes, which we plan to shoot this Spring.
The cost of producing the next five episodes will be $15,000 which will be broken down as follows:
